Clinical Leadership in Anesthesia Management
The capabilities of North American Partners in Anesthesia extend beyond our expertise in providing the highest quality anesthesia services; in fact, we are specialists in management of the entire operating room facility. Because every facility is unique, we use our thorough knowledge of the logistics of running operating rooms to analyze each client’s individual needs and design a plan that’s tailored specifically to that facility.
Every hospital we serve is assigned its own Anesthesia Chairman (or, Anesthesia Chief), who will create an annual operating room action plan to guide the facility’s management. The clinical leadership of the Anesthesia Chairman is committed to ensuring that the hospital is adequately staffed with the right anesthesia professionals—24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The chairman will establish and enforce measures to promote consistent, high quality service to every patient.
NAPA is skilled in providing services at its client hospitals that go above and beyond what an ordinary anesthesia practice does. Some of the differences between NAPA and the average anesthesiology group include:
- Patient first care: applying the right anesthesia experts to the right cases
- Experience managing hospital ORs and managing the transition to a new anesthesia group
- A commitment to teamwork, both internally, within the department, and externally, throughout the hospital
- Involvement in a National Quality Assurance initiative
Our goal is to build a strong, positive relationship between the hospital and the patients, surgeons and staff who use it. Should a complaint arise, the Anesthesia Chairman will work to create a timely, mutually beneficial solution.
At NAPA, our goal is to put our management and clinical expertise to work for our hospital clients so their physicians can stop worrying about the things they didn’t get into medicine for—like paperwork—and start focusing on the reason they did: like patient care.
