Plainview HospitalPlainview Hospital, proud member of the North Shore-LIJ Health System, is an acute care community hospital with 239 beds. The hospital treats patients with a wide range of medical, surgical, pediatric, obstetric and gynecological conditions.

Plainview Hospital has an active same-day surgery program, and an extremely busy Emergency Department, which is a designated Level II Trauma Center featuring a Chest Pain Emergency Room. The latter is a separate area where patients with cardiac complaints are immediately assessed. Plainview Hospital is also the site of one of the Don Monti Cancer Centers. “Suite Beginnings” offers LDRPs, or labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum suites, which make the entire birth experience more personal and comfortable for the entire family.
