Franklin Hospital is a 305-bed community hospital that offers a comprehensive array of programs and services to patients from Nassau and Southeastern Queens Counties. It has one of the most advanced Emergency Departments in the region and a 21-bed short-term psychiatric unit.

The hospital is home to a state-of-the-art 120-bed facility known as the Orzac Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation. This facility houses the hospital’s long-term care and rehabilitative medicine department and the medically oriented Adult Day Health Care Program.

Franklin also offers pediatric, women’s, family and home care through the Mary L. Chrichlow Family Health Center.
